About this property

Narrows Branch Tract 80 Acres ± | Yell County, Arkansas The Narrows Branch Tract offers an exceptional opportunity to own a manageable recreational property surrounded by one of the largest expanses of public land in Arkansas. Located in southwestern Yell County, this approximately 80-acre tract lies north and west of Chula Road and shares an extensive boundary with the Ouachita National Forest, providing direct access to thousands of acres of additional land to explore. Narrows Branch, a seasonal creek, meanders through the property and serves as a natural focal point across the landscape. The hardwood-lined drainage creates excellent wildlife travel corridors while contributing to the property's scenic character and overall habitat diversity. Mature oaks preserved along the creek continue to produce acorns each fall, providing an important food source while encouraging consistent wildlife activity throughout the property. The terrain is one of the property's greatest strengths. Gentle ridges and gradual elevation changes make it easy to navigate on foot or by side-byside, allowing owners to comfortably access nearly every portion of the tract. Whether your interests include hunting, hiking, camping, or simply escaping the demands of everyday life, this is a property designed to be enjoyed. Following the harvest of the pine timber, native vegetation has responded with abundant browse and cover that continues to improve wildlife habitat. Combined with the mature hardwood corridors, seasonal water, and the surrounding Ouachita National Forest, the property provides outstanding habitat for deer, turkey, black bear, and numerous other native wildlife species. Chula Road provides convenient access to the property, with county maintenance extending to the property line. Despite its accessibility, the area experiences very little traffic, preserving the peaceful atmosphere that makes this part of the Ouachita Mountains so desirable. Whether you're searching for your first hunting property, a weekend retreat, or a recreational investment with room to grow, the Narrows Branch Tract delivers exceptional habitat, scenic beauty, and direct access to one of Arkansas's premier public land destinations. Another 120 acres m/l is available on the east side of Chula road. It's known as the Irons Fork Tract. Both tracts can be viewed as the Chula Road Tract
