Oats Creek Woods

About this property

Oak Creek Woods If you've been looking for an affordable piece of ground with hunting, recreational, and homesite potential, this 14.2-acre tract just outside of Bradford is worth a look. Located along Jackson County Road 5, the property offers county road access with rural water available at the road. Farmers Electric power is located within approximately 600 feet of the property, and the utility engineer has indicated that extending power to the tract should not be a problem. The property is already set up well for recreational use with a secured gate, older perimeter fencing, and an established trail system that makes getting around the property easy. Several small openings throughout the tract provide natural locations for food plots, hunting setups, or potential homesites. Wildlife is no stranger here. Trail camera activity has shown deer, turkey, coyotes, and other native wildlife, and the current owners have established multiple stand locations with a history of successful hunts. The property also features mature timber consisting primarily of white oak, red oak, and hickory, along with two seasonal springs identified by the owner. With some additional site work, the springs may offer the potential for a more consistent water source. Whether you're looking for a manageable hunting property, weekend retreat, future homestead, small livestock setup, or simply your own piece of ground in the country, this tract offers plenty of possibilities in an affordable package.
